Group I introns in SSU rDNA
This SSU rDNA secondary structure, including the sequence of the lichen-forming ascomycete Lecanora dispersa, shows the known places of group I intron occurence. The boxed numbers are a nomenclature we developed to name intron's positions relative to the secondary structure of E. coli.Figure is adapted from:
